Koryo (1st Degree L2)                                                                                                        

Chumbi (Ready Position)

 

1.   Look and turn Left 90 degrees.  Knifehand Middle Block (L), Cat Stance (L).

2.   Moving forward, Rear Double Side Kick - Low/ High (R), step down into Inverted Knifehand Strike (R), Horse Stance (R); pivot to the Right into Middle Punch (L), Front Stance (R); pivot to the Left into Inside Block (R), Cat Stance (R).

3.   Look and turn Right 180 degrees.  Knifehand Middle Block (R), Cat Stance (R).

4.   Moving forward, Rear Double Side Kick – Low/ High (L), step down into Inverted Knifehand Strike (L), Horse Stance (L); pivot to the Left into Middle Punch (R), Front Stance (L); pivot to the Right into Inside Block (L), Cat Stance (L).

5.   Look and turn Left 90 degrees.  Open Hand Low Block (L), Front Stance (L), followed by Open Hand Thrust (R).

6.   Moving forward, Front Kick (R), stepping down into Open Hand Low Block (R), Front Stance (R), followed by Open Hand Thrust (L).

7.   Moving forward, Front Kick (L), stepping down into Open Hand Low Block (L), Front Stance (L), followed by Open Hand Thrust (R).

8.   Moving forward, Front Kick (R), Inside Leg Grab (L), Open Hand Thrust Knee Break (R), Front Stance (R).

9.   In place, Twin Outside Block (R and L).  Kihap!

10. Look and turn Left 180 degrees by pivoting on the Right foot.  Twin Outside Block (R and L), Front Stance (R).

11. Moving forward, Front Kick (L), Inside Leg Grab (L), Open hand Thrust Knee Break (R), Front Stance (L).

12. In place, Twin Outside Block (R and L).  Kihap!

13. Look and turn 270 degrees Left by pivoting on the Right foot.  Cross Knifehand Block (L), Cat Stance (L).

14. In place, Reverse Punch (R) to open Left hand.

15. Moving forward, Cross Step Forward (R), Rear Side Kick (L).  During re-chamber and step down, look and turn 180 Right and perform Palm Heel Groin Strike (L), Front Stance (R).

16. Slide Right foot back towards the Left foot into Downward Palm Block (R), Cat Stance (R).

17. Moving forward, Cross Step (L), Inside Palm Block (L), finish Cross Step (R), Outside Supported Elbow Strike (R), Horse Stance (R).

18. Slide Right foot back towards the Left foot into Cross Knifehand Block (R), Cat Stance (R).

19. In place, Reverse Punch (L) to open Right hand.

20. Moving forward, Cross Step Forward (L), Rear Side Kick (R).  During re-chamber and step down, look and turn 180 degrees Left and perform Palm Heel Groin Strike (R), Front Stance (L).

21. Slide Left foot back towards the Right foot into Downward Palm Block (L), Cat Stance (L).

22. Moving forward, Cross Step (R), Inside Palm Block (R), finish Cross Step (L), Outside Supported Elbow Strike (L), Horse Stance (L).

23. Look 90 degrees Right.  Slide the Right foot in and next to the Left foot while standing straight up.  Simultaneously arc the arms in a circle from the waist to overhead.  Thumb side of Right fist will touch Left palm (fingers pointing up) when feet touch.  Slowly descend the arms in the same but reverse arching motion until the outside of the Right fist touches the Left palm (fingers pointing down).

24. Look and turn 180 degrees Left.  Knifehand Strike (L) into an Open Hand Low Block (L), Front Stance (L).

25. Stepping forward.  Knifehand Strike (R) into an Open Hand Low Block (R), Front Stance (R). 

26. Stepping forward.  Knifehand Strike (L) into an Open Hand Low Block (L), Front Stance (L).

27. Stepping forward.  Open Hand Thrust (R), Front Stance (R).  Kihap!
